## Quick answer

A Laravel application with AI needs the compatible PHP environment, the database, queues and scheduled routines used by the project. The model key remains in the backend. Production preparation includes webroot in the public folder, restricted permissions, and joint code and data recovery.

AI does not restrict a system to JavaScript. A Laravel product can integrate templates to analyze documents, prepare proposals, and organize requests while the backend maintains registration, permissions, and persistence. The architecture should separate what the model suggests from what the business effectively authorizes. Publication also needs to respect the directories and application processes.

Process overview

- Authorised request

- Persisted Work

- Worker and AI provider

- Outcome and audit

## Set the rules before automating

Choose a limited task: summarize a request, suggest a category, or prepare a draft. Set the input data, response format, and who confirms the result. Avoid giving the implicit authority template to change contracts, balances, or permissions.

In a SaaS with multiple companies, the separation between organizations needs to exist in the queries and actions of the backend. An instruction in the prompt does not replace authorization. Test two organizations and confirm that documents, reports and conversations do not cross that border.

## Check out PHP version and project requirements

Use the Laravel version requirements your repository adopts. Deployment documentation guides you to direct the server to the public folder and ensure writing in the necessary directories such as storage and bootstrap/cache. The entire project root should not be webrooted.

At WordPane, prepare a Custom application in compatible PHP environment. Check version, extensions and database before hiring. Creating a custom application does not automatically download your code or configure the business system. Composer availability and installation procedure need to match the chosen publishing environment.

## Prepare the application in the panel

- Create or connect the compatible server and open Applications.

- Create the Custom application with proper domain and System User.

- Configure Custom Webroot for public as per project structure.

- In Databases, create the database and a user of your own, with Localhost origin when the connection occurs on the same server.

- Publish the code out of the public folder and keep .env protected.

- Install dependencies and prepare the application by the procedure of your project.

- Test login, recording and upload before enabling automatic update.

## Set up a release that can be explained

In a project with Composer and lockfile, composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader is an example of installing dependencies for production. Package Scripts can also perform actions, so review the project. Set up the environment and confirm the existing application key; do not regenerate the key of a system that already has encrypted data.

Migrations need backup and impact assessment. Set a window and return plan, especially when the change removes data or makes the previous code incompatible. Do not treat commit reversal as database recovery. Validation should include the actual records that the system needs to save.

## Use queue for long jobs

Laravel offers a queue interface with different backends. A continuous worker and a cron task have different roles. For document processing, save status, error and attempts and allow the user to follow the completion without keeping an open request indefinitely.

The WordPane panel documents process supervisors and Cron Jobs for scheduled tasks. Set up command, user, number of processes and logs according to the application. The php artisan file:work example only makes sense when the project and queue are ready. After deploy, check out the upgrade procedure for the workers of the version used.

## Control model integration

Keep the service key in the backend and limit entry, output and frequency. Save only the data required for diagnostics. For customer documents, define which information may leave the application and which service will receive the request. A hosting of its own does not prevent the integration from sending data to the AI provider.

Do an unavailable service test and another one with return outside the expected format. The application must record the failure, allow a new controlled attempt and avoid duplicate charge or write. Treat the generated text as an input that needs validation before displaying it as HTML or using it in an action.

## Prepare backup and maintenance routine

Include database, uploads and settings required for recovery. For a system with client files, repository backup is not enough. Test a restore in a separate environment and register the recovery time that the team can meet.

Track accumulated queue, job errors, response time, and busy space. A peak report can affect the server differently from a visit to the public page. Before expanding resources, identify the task that produces consumption and check whether the limits and competition are adequate.

## Turn an AI task into a traceable job

Consider generating a summary of a support ticket. An authenticated request creates a job with an identifier, the queue executes the external call and the interface tracks its state. Record whether the job is waiting, running, completed or failed. The user should not need to submit the same task again just because the response was not immediate.

If the worker is interrupted after the external call and before saving the result, a new attempt can repeat the cost. Use an operation key and a status record to recognize repetitions. Set how many attempts are acceptable and a destination for failures that need revision.

## Workers are also part of the release

A queue process can continue running old code after file exchange. The publishing procedure needs to consider the controlled reloading of the workers and the completion of ongoing work. Check out the available process management mechanism and test the behavior before the first real update.

The scheduler must run the expected tasks without accidentally creating concurrent copies. Check the schedule, timezone and logs. A dashboard that supports cron jobs or process supervisors does not automatically know your SaaS rules; the application team must define these commands and limits.

## Define the rollback path before migrating the database

A schema change can prevent the previous version from running. Evaluate if the migration is compatible with the old code and if there is a recoverable copy. For long or destructive changes, plan window and impact based on data volume.

Disable debugging in production and keep .env outside the webroot. During validation, test registration, login, authorization between accounts, billing if present and the AI workflow’s error response. Healthy infrastructure and a correct application are complementary checks.

## WordPane's role in the product

The platform aggregates infrastructure organization and tools for domain, database, users, Git, processes, logs and backups according to the environment. This allows the team to focus product decisions on the application while maintaining a known path to the operation.

Hourly charging of the environment must enter the budget with the model costs and external services. To begin with, publish a complete test flow with authentication, task and revised result. This pilot helps to choose resources and demonstrate value to the first customer on a basis that can be maintained.
