# Migration of websites and emails

Origin, secure accesses, destination, collection and follow-up by the team.

**Customer area guide**

These procedures happen in app.WordPane.cloud. For files, databases, SSH users and application configuration, see the control panel guides. Values and options can change; check the summary presented in your account before confirming.

## Request migration of websites or applications

Where to find: Panel → Website migration / applications

The wizard presents Applications, Accesses of Origin and Destination and revision.

- In Applications, choose Application type and inform Application name and URL of the site / application.

- For WordPress, also inform WordPress access URL, Administrator User and WordPress Password in specific fields.

- Use + Add another application if you want to migrate more than one project; review each item.

- In Accesses of origin, inform URL of the hosting panel, Host User and Host Password in the fields themselves.

- In Access to files, choose SSH, SFTP or FTP if available and fill in the fields shown. If you do not have access now, use the corresponding option.

- In Destination and revision, select Destination Server or I still don't have / set by call.

- Describe priorities and doubts in Observations and check quantity, total and expected balance.

- Read the permission to use the accesses and discount after completion. If you agree, mark it and use Request Migration.

- Follow My migrations and generated calls. Match the destination with the team if it is not yet ready.

To prepare the destination, see [Create and connect servers](https://wordpane.cloud/en/documentacao/primeiros-passos/). For copies between already managed servers, see [Cloning applications](https://wordpane.cloud/en/documentacao/clonar-aplicacoes/).

**Before continuing**

For WordPress, administrative access can allow migration by plugin; the team confirms the method.

The catalog includes WordPress, PrestaShop, Moodle, Joomla, Mautic, Akaunting, Nextcloud, Craft CMS, Statamic, phpMyAdmin, n8n, Uptime Kuma, Node-RED, NodeBB and Other application.

The target server must be available before completion. Do not cancel the source hosting before validating the migrated project.

## Request migration of e-mail boxes

Where to find: Panel → Email migration

Steps are Source Accounts, IMAP Accesses and Destination and revision. Copying messages does not remove the source box.

- In Origin Accounts, please inform source E-mail and source Host IMAP.

- Check out IMAP Port and Connection Security with the source provider. The screen starts with 993 and SSL/TLS and also offers STARTTLS.

- Use + Add another email box to include more accounts.

- In IMAP Accesses, inform IMAP Access User and Password from the source box in the fields themselves; use application password if required by the provider.

- In Destination and revision, select Destination Email Box or I still don't have / set by call.

- Report Notes and review each box, quantity, total and expected balance.

- Read the authorization, mark it if you agree and use Request Migration.

- Follow My migrations and the call of each box. Combine the creation of the destination before completion.

- After completion, check the messages in the destination and match with the team the DNS change and transition of the devices.

See [Professional e-mail](https://wordpane.cloud/en/documentacao/emails/) to configure domain, DNS and destination boxes.

**Before continuing**

Do not use IMAP initial values without confirming the actual provider configuration.

Keep the source accessible until you validate the copy and transition.

## Understand the billing and follow each item

Where to find: Migration summary; My migrations; Calls

Each application or box opens an individual call. The interface informs charging only when the team finishes that item.

- Check the unit value, quantity and total before sending.

- Compare Available Credits with Expected Balance after completion.

- After requesting, follow each item in My migrations and the conversation in Calls.

- After completion, check the discount of the wallet and validate the migrated service.

### Understand the fields and options

**Sites / applications**: In the review of 10/10/2026: R$25 per completed application.

**Emails**: In review 10/10/2026: R$5 per completed box.

**Before continuing**

There is no separate payment or discount at the time of request, as observed in the summary. The expected balance changes with the consumption of the other services.

This charge per item is different from the fee per hour of the infrastructure and the e-mail boxes. Always check the current conditions of the wizard.

## Protect accesses and resolve to-dos

Where to find: Migration Wizard; Calls

The interface informs that accesses are stored encrypted and removed when completing or canceling migration.

- Enter passwords only in the wizard's own fields.

- Use Call Notes and messages for context and questions, no passwords or tokens.

- If accesses fail, check host, user, method and permissions with the source provider.

- If you need to update a credentials or cancel, ask for guidance on the safe procedure available.

**Before continuing**

The forms were reviewed without sending a request. Cancellation, execution and tracking screens with existing items were not tested.

### If the result is not expected

I still have no destiny.

Choose I have not yet / set by call and match the next steps. Destination needs to exist before completion.

I can't ask.

Check the fields of all items, summary and authorization. Register the validation message for support if it persists.
