A public catalogue, a management panel, and a login portal can be built with Vue and Nuxt, including with the help of AI. Hosting depends on how each page is rendered and where the application holds information. Discovering this before deploy avoids hiring a static environment for a project that expects an active server.
Link the rendering mode to the experience
Nuxt allows different rendering modes. A pre-rendered site can be delivered as files; a system that runs routes on the server needs the corresponding execution. Nuxt documentation warns that static output does not include server endpoints. Use this distinction to review the project, without assuming that the export button of the AI tool migrates the backend.
For a catalogue with daily update, a build after review of the content may be sufficient. For a financial area, individual data should be authorized and consulted at the appropriate time. Write which pages are public, which depend on the user and which actions record information.
Prepare the build environment
Check the scripts, lockfile and Node version. A clean installation on another machine or CI helps reveal dependencies that only exist on the developer's computer. Register the required variables and differentiate the public settings of the credentials used in the backend.
Avoid solving a failure by installing packages globally without documenting. The goal is to be able to repeat the post from a known commit. Use test data and run the main streams before choosing the automatic update method.
Post the correct exit
For static generation with Nuxt, the default public output is in .output/public. For the Node server preset, the documented input is .output/server/index.mjs. These destinations fulfill different roles. Check the configuration and preset of your project before copying commands.
In the static case, the WordPane panel can organize domain, user, and webroot to receive public files. Send the internal output content, preserving the structure. In the case Node, confirm the beta stack and the execution controls; do not configure .output/public as if it contained all dynamic logic.
npm ci
npm run build
node .output/server/index.mjsPass through the panel with clear criteria
- In the client area, choose or connect a compatible infrastructure.
- In the server panel, prepare your own application and domain.
- Check the destination of static files or the actual Node execution parameters available.
- Configure database, storage, and variables outside the public folder.
- Publish the test version and open internal routes directly.
- Only then enable the Git update method available for this application.
Add AI without turning the browser into a keeper of secrets
A Nuxt application can offer suggestions for text, triage, or assisted search. Call the model by an authorized backend and limit what it receives. The frontend should not load a private key or consult a database with administrative credentials.
Consider a system of commercial proposals: AI prepares a draft, and the team confirms values and conditions. Record the review status and allow you to follow who approved. This stream delivers a verifiable result to the customer, without relying on the model to understand all the rules of the business alone.
Diagnostics by layer
When a page returns error, differentiate domain resolution, web delivery, application execution, and database query. Examine logs and incident time. If the API responds, but the interface does not, check source, production URL, and authentication. If the build fails, the problem may be before hosting.
Also test a content update and a restart. An application that works after the first upload, but loses data in the second deployment, is not yet ready. Preserve uploads and configure recovery before receiving actual files from customers.
What the Panel Adds
WordPane organizes server operations, hourly consumption, and application administration tools. This base can reduce dispersion between domain tasks, files, Git and environment tracking. It does not replace the system rules or external services required by the project.
Choose features from observed traffic and processing. A pre-rendered frontend and a backend with long reports have different profiles. Send the inventory of runtime, database and tasks when you need guidance; a proper setting starts by explaining what will actually be executed.
