Connect your Linode / Akamai account

Where to find: Create server → My provider → Linode / Akamai

The infrastructure is in your Linode / Akamai account; WordPane installs and charges management separately. Integration uses authorization on the provider's website.

1. Choose the reference application on Servers → Create Server. Advance to Infrastructure and select My Provider.
2. Open Linode / Akamai and check connected Accounts. If the correct account is already connected, select it.
3. At WordPane, use Connecting another account to start the authorization on the Linode / Akamai website.
4. Check the account and requested permissions. Authorize only if you recognize WordPane integration and return to the client area.
5. Check out the connection result and select the destination account before clicking Configure VPS.

Configure the VPS and check the destination

Where to find: Linode / Akamai → Configure VPS

Regions, systems and plans depend on the account and availability consulted at the provider.

1. Check Destination of the new server. Use Swap Account if the destination is incorrect.
2. Enter the name of the server and choose a compatible location and operating system displayed on the screen.
3. Select the plane category and compare cores, RAM, disk, transfer and prices. Do not choose only by name or lower price.
4. Select an available plan and use Update Plans when needed.
5. Choose web server, database and additional options compatible with your project. Check out the applications available in the installer.
6. Review counts, region, system, plan and technology before continuing.

Review recovery, creation and operations

Compare the cost of VPS with management before you authorize hiring.

1. Check out the price of the VPS in the provider's currency and possible IP costs, traffic, backups and other additional ones.
2. Check out the WordPane fare, start of charge, balance and tolerance without balance presented in the review.
3. If you decide to hire, read the authorization, check the confirmation and use the creation button presented to the provider.
4. Follow Account → Operations and also check the resources in your provider account.
5. After installation completes, open the control panel to install the application.

Solve Connection Failures and Plans

Write down the step and error message without including credentials.

1. Check the account and region chosen.
2. Check that there is already operation in progress or VPS created in the provider.
3. Open a call with the message and step when the problem persists.

If the result is not expected
