Prepare and connect your Magalu Cloud account

Where to find: Servers → Create server → My provider → Magalu Cloud

My provider creates infrastructure in your Magalu account and installs WordPane management. Before you start, choose the reference application in the creation stream.

1. Sign in to your Magalu Cloud account and check out the tenant that will be used for the servers. The Key API needs to belong to this tenant.
2. In the Magalu ID, access API Key creation, set an identifiable name, choose expiration and select the necessary permissions. Integration guides permissions from virtual machines, network, and SSH keys. Check out the official guide linked below.
3. Check that the default network of the account is active and available. It is a requirement of the observed flow.
4. In WordPane, open Magalu Cloud and select an account in Connected Accounts. For a new account, click Connect another account.
5. Fill in Connection Name and Key API. Please enter the credential only in this field and click Connect Account.
6. Check the Connected statement and select the correct account before clicking Configure VPS.

Understand the fields and options

Tenant

Organization context in Magalu. A key from another tenant can consult or create resources in the wrong destination.

Connection name

Account identification in WordPane; is not the name of VPS.

API Key

API credentials for integration. The interface informs that it is encrypted and not displayed again.

Expiration

Check the validity set in Magalu and plan the update before it expires.

Choose region, plan and technologies

Where to find: Magalu Cloud → Configure VPS

Check Destination of the new server before choosing the features. The catalog is consulted by the API and can change.

1. Check the destination account. Use Change account if the selection is incorrect.
2. Inform Server name with a project identification.
3. Choose Location. The observed flow offers Southeast (br-se1) and Northeast (br-ne1). The availability of plans depends on the region.
4. Select Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04. The observed flow works with x86 plans and local disk.
5. Choose Balanced Cost (Balanced Value / BV) or Dedicated Performance (Dedicated Performance / DP). Read the count of available plans.
6. Compare cores, RAM, disk, monthly reference and hourly price; select a plan available. Use Update Plans when needed.
7. Choose Apache, Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed and a database available on the screen. Enable Add Node.js to the server only when needed and offered.
8. Check out the application recommendation and installer applications. The reference application is not installed during VPS creation.

Review the costs and follow the installation

Where to find: Magalu Cloud → Review and create

Confirmation authorizes the creation of the infrastructure in the provider and the installation of WordPane management.

1. Check out the connected account, reference application, region, plan, system and chosen technologies.
2. Compare the amount of VPS paid to Magalu with the WordPane management tariff and any additional provider charges.
3. Read start of charge, hourly charge and tolerance without balance. Confirm the balance available for management.
4. If you decide to hire and the data is correct, mark the authorization presented and use Create VPS at Magalu.
5. Follow Account → Operations until completion. Also check the machine and features in your Magalu account.
6. When the server is available, open the control panel and install the compatible application.

Solve connection and catalog problems

Identify at which stage the problem occurred before repeating a request.

1. Save the displayed message, step and region, without copying the Key API.
2. Check to see if any operations are already underway.
3. If there is resource created in the provider, check your status before trying again.
4. Open a call with this information when the query or installation does not complete.
