Account, security and history

Profile, WhatsApp, tax document, password, accesses and preferences.

Customer area guide

These procedures happen in app.WordPane.cloud. For files, databases, SSH users and application configuration, see the control panel guides. Values and options can change; check the summary presented in your account before confirming.

Configure warnings by WhatsApp

Where to find: Account → Profile → WhatsApp Notifications

Enter your number, authorize the notices, and choose categories. The Save WhatsApp preferences button is separate from Update Profile.

  1. Include country code and DDD in Your WhatsApp.
  2. Check the authorization and the selected warnings.
  3. Use Save WhatsApp preferences and check out the result.

Update CPF or CNPJ for tax notes

Where to find: Account → Profile → CPF/CNPJ for issuing tax notes

This document is shared with Invoice → Settings. Save on one screen updates the data in both.

  1. Check out the document of the person or company responsible.
  2. Fill in CPF or CNPJ in your own field.
  3. Click Save Document and check the confirmation.

Update your profile and time zone

Where to find: Account → Profile

Keep the identification and location data correct.

  1. Review Full Name and E-mail.
  2. Select Country and Region.
  3. Choose the time zone corresponding to your operation.
  4. Click Update and check the confirmation.
  5. If the system requests e-mail validation, complete the instructions presented.

Change account password

Where to find: Account → Security → Change Password

The account password gives access to the client area; it is different from the passwords of boxes and server users.

  1. Please enter current password.
  2. Set New Password and repeat under Confirm Password.
  3. Use Change Password or Change Password and exit as per the goal.
  4. Check the confirmation and log in again if the session is closed.
  5. Update your password manager after confirming the change.

Configure two-step authentication

Where to find: Account → Security

The screen displays the status of the protection and guides the configuration by email or authenticator application.

  1. Read the current two-step Authentication status.
  2. For the method by email, activate the option and follow the checks displayed.
  3. For application, access the authenticator application tab when available and follow the configuration.
  4. Complete the requested validation and check that the state has become active.
  5. Save the means of recovery presented by your account if offered.

See access history

Where to find: Account → Access History

The table informs IP, browser and date and time of accesses.

  1. Click Update History.
  2. Compare schedules and browsers with your usual accesses.
  3. Adjust Results per page or proceed to pagination to consult previous records.
  4. If you recognize suspicious access, secure the Security account and report support.

Investigate changes in activity history

Where to find: Account → Activities

Use this screen to locate actions on features and settings.

  1. Filter Type: Server, Billing, Transaction, Call or Email.
  2. Filter Action: Create, Delete, Update or Access (access).
  3. Use the filter button and Update activities.
  4. Read description, IP when available and date/time.
  5. Go through the pages to locate the change and inform the context to the support.

Adjust Confirmation Timer

Where to find: Account → Settings

The preference defines the waiting of windows that have timer.

  1. Choose Confirmation time between 0 and 5 seconds.
  2. Use Show Demo to understand behavior.
  3. Click Update to save.
  4. Check the confirmation and the selected value.

Understand the closure of the account

Where to find: Account → Profile → Delete account

The interface informs that deleting the account immediately revokes access to servers, management and support and removes data from the current database.

  1. Review active services and outstanding payments.
  2. Export documents and make copies of the necessary data.
  3. Separately check the VPS and contracted resources on your provider.
  4. Read all the consequences on confirmation before deciding to delete.
  5. Look for support if you need to clarify the destination of the services and the balance.
