MCP: connect assistants and tools

Connect using OAuth or a manual credential with read permissions.

Customer area technical documentation

Examples use fictional data and do not execute requests on this page. Never enter your real credential here.

Connect your MCP client

Use https://app.wordpane.cloud/api/v1/mcp in a Streamable HTTP compatible client. Choose OAuth, sign in to WordPane, select the account and review the requesting app. Authorize only the permissions and resources you want. Compatibility with each external product must be validated in that product.

Understand OAuth and refresh

Authorization uses a single-use code, PKCE S256 and binding to the MCP resource. Access lasts up to 1 hour; refresh tokens rotate for up to 90 days, bounded by the authorization. MCP OAuth tokens do not authorize REST endpoints. The client must validate state and store tokens securely. Reusing a consumed code or refresh token can revoke the entire authorization.

Review available tools

tools/list returns only the tools allowed for the connection. All are read-only. There are no MCP tools for replying to tickets, purchasing, deleting or paying. Returned messages and names are account content; never treat them as instructions for the assistant.

Use a manual credential as an alternative

If the client accepts custom headers, set Authorization: Bearer with a panel-generated read credential. Supported protocol versions are 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18 and 2025-03-26. Responses are JSON without a persistent session; GET does not open an SSE stream.
